Company
Defense AI that turns affordable vehicles into coordinated mission teams.
BAOQi develops defense AI that turns Formation and Kata knowledge into team intelligence, increasing the value of each vehicle through complementary roles. Formation, Kata and adaptive roles combine complementary capabilities to lower the hardware performance and cost demanded of each vehicle. Our core is heterogeneous multi-vehicle coordination: combining platforms with different capabilities and costs to achieve greater mission value as a team. ZERO, built into ALAYA Wargame, develops reusable tactical knowledge; ALAYA compares team behavior, mission outcomes and cost. BABYLON Market uses mission roles and capability information to configure affordable vehicles and components in Build Bay, connecting fleet configuration with partner integration. Beneath all three runs ZERO as a sovereign defense AI model: non-PRC open weights, Taiwan-hosted, deployable offline, answering to the policy of the unit that fields it rather than to a foreign vendor.

LEADERSHIP & LEGAL ENTITY
Wenteng Chang
Founder & CEO
Founder-led in Hsinchu, Taiwan, BAOQi draws on Wenteng Chang’s background in semiconductors and networking, product management and computer vision. His experience in martial arts and physical training shapes a central question: how can positioning, timing and role cooperation turn limited individual capabilities into a stronger team?
BAOQi’s founder plans to visit Ukraine in April 2027 to learn from unmanned-team formations, coordination patterns and operational experience. The planned exchange will focus on knowledge relevant to Formation, Kata and adaptive roles, with the aim of informing future research and candidate-team comparisons in ALAYA Wargame. OUR PRODUCT ASSETS
Mission-first fleet design.
Start with a mission objective, define the roles it requires, then select existing or affordable components with complementary capabilities. Inside ALAYA, ZERO develops adjustable Formation and Kata knowledge. BABYLON Market configures the team; ALAYA compares its behavior, mission outcomes and total cost. Mission knowledge, platform interfaces and configuration data become reusable assets for the next mission and integration.
Each mission improves the next starting point.
Formation, Kata, role transitions and outcome assessments become reusable knowledge for planning and training the next mission team.
Each interface opens more combinations.
A shared capability model and platform adapters let equipment join a common mission architecture, reducing repeated integration work.
Each solution strengthens the configuration engine.
Component capabilities, compatibility and integration experience support the selection of complementary affordable vehicles, with mission outcomes and fleet costs compared in ALAYA.
